BIO5 faculty Corral, Snyder named to UA Academic Leadership Institute

BIO5 faculty Erica Corral and Shane Snyder were recently named fellows of the 2011-2012 Academic Leadership Institute at the University of Arizona, along with BIO5's director of strategic alliances, Daphne Gilman.They join esteemed BIO5 members Heddwen Brooks and Mark Riley, who were selected for the inaugural 2010-2011 program.

UA Communications: "Established in 2010 with the help of outside donations, the Academic Leadership Institute is a partnership of the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost and Human Resources. Its goal is to prepare a diverse group of University employees, including faculty, department heads, associate or assistant deans and other emerging campus leaders, to assume leadership roles in a challenging time for higher education."
