BIO5 Fellows

BIO5 Fellows are faculty recruited to the University of Arizona and hired to fulfill strategic aims for BIO5 initiatives in collaboration with their home department in one of BIO5’s colleges.

BIO5 Fellows are scientists who have expressed a desire to work in a hub for innovation and creativity, with a translational focus towards developing new technologies, diagnostics, and treatments to solve humanity’s grand biological challenges.

Research will comprise at least 75% of the Fellows time, and they will work alongside other renowned scientists in state-of-the-art laboratories across the UA.  They will receive all the benefits of a BIO5 membership. Defined goals will be decided and measured as part of this appointment. This program is designed to encourage and facilitate transdisciplinary collaboration and novel approaches to achieving research goals and outcomes.
